Disk brakes

Together with everyone a wheel in a stream of air the steel disk freely rotates. So-called supports седлообразно cover disks. By pressing a pedal of a brake pistons press brake overlays to disks – there is a braking.

Disk brakes are constantly cooled by a counter stream of air. To the six-cylinder engine of 2,8 l there is an additional cooling of forward disk brakes: on perimetre of a brake disk the big dredging which reject air settle down and thus strengthen cooling.

Disk brakes in crude weather

At an incessant rain barefaced brake disks intensively pour down, therefore the brake effect is shown with delay in a fraction of a second. The moisture between brake disks and overlays should evaporate in the beginning. In the winter this phenomenon arises with special force as the layer of the salt which have settled on brake disks and overlays, at braking should be erased in the beginning.
