Safety locks

Each electric device in the car requires only the certain, precisely established quantity of a current. According to this consumption of a current in the given electric chain, naturally, the cross-section section of its wire has been defined. If current consumption increases in this electric chain, for example, at the expense of the consumer connected in addition or as a result of short circuit the wire is overloaded. Thus the wire is warmed up or even is heated, if current giving in time is not interrupted. It is done by safety locks.

That Audi at defect occurrence it has not appeared completely disconnected, safety locks are integrated into various electric chains. Though electric chains between the accumulator, the generator, a starter and the lock of ignition by safety locks are not supervised.

Replacement of safety locks

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

At the certain expanded complete set on a 8-seater support of additional relays at the left under a control panel auxiliary safety locks take places. Thus it is a question of so-called thermosafety locks more often. These are safety locks which at an overload of an electric chain for a certain time interrupt a current stream, and then again restore connection.
