Control bulb of pressure of oil

Control bulb of level of a brake liquid

Pressure of oil in engine Audi A4 is supervised by the gauge of pressure of oil in a combination to an electronic logic unit in the combined device. In this connection the signal already moves not on the basis only pressure of oil, and in a combination to the data about temperature of a cooling liquid and number of turns of the engine. Criteria for inclusion of an alarm bulb:

  • The engine does not work, the gauge of pressure of oil is closed.
  • The temperature of a cooling liquid above 60 С, number of turns of the engine exceeds 1500 rpm and the gauge of pressure of oil is opened.
  • Temperature of a cooling liquid more low 60 С, number of turns above 300 rpm and the gauge of pressure of oil it is opened.
  • At turns of the engine above 5000 rpm the activated signal about pressure of oil is not switched off (irrespective of position of the switch of pressure of oil).
  • If at engine work on turns above 1500/mines the gauge of pressure of oil remains opened more than 0,5 with this information remains in the computer. If this condition arises three consecutive times the warning signal becomes more active and is not switched off, even if the number of turns falls. Readout begins with following inclusion of ignition at first.

The switch of pressure of oil

In four- and six-cylinder engines different gauges of pressure of the oil are established, the isolated which details for difference have different colour:

  • Black colour at the switch of pressure of oil from 1,4 bar in four-cylinder engines.
  • White colour at the switch of pressure of oil from 1,8 bar in six-cylinder engines.

Troubleshooting

  • If the alarm bulb (sometimes with a sound signal) burns at the working engine you should stop at once!
  • At once switch off the engine, check up oil level. If everything is all right:
  • Tow off the car to prevent more serious damages because of a greasing lack.
  • As the following measure check up pressure of oil.
  • If pressure of oil is perfectly in order, you can change the gauge of pressure of oil (in a workshop).
  • If, despite it, the lamp does not die away, the reason in the device.

Replacement of the gauge of pressure of oil

Wires to the gauge of pressure of oil and to the gauge of temperature of oil in the six-cylinder engine are connected in it штекерном a socket (marksman) behind on the left head of the block of cylinders.


At the left near to a belt pulley коленвала in the six-cylinder engine there is a gauge (1) indicators of temperature of oil and the gauge of pressure of oil (2).


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Buy the necessary gauge of pressure of oil with black or white isolation and to it a new sealing ring.
  2. Tighten the gauge of pressure of oil only on 25 Nanometers.
