Check of screen wipers and windscreen

On the disassembled brush we have designated in figures following details


1 – the metal lever mechanism; 2 – a metal strip;	3 – a rubber nozzle of a brush of a screen wiper.

To remove a brush (1) screen wipers from its lever (2), it is necessary to pull downwards small рычажок (marksman) that the clamp has jumped out of dredging on the lever.

The lever of a screen wiper (1) can be removed from an axis after отжима a protective cap (2) and easings of its fixing nut. Move it there-here a little that a teeth was liberated.

Replacement of brushes of a screen wiper

Rubber of screen wipers keeps about half a year. After that you should solve, whether you wish to replace all brush of a screen wiper or – is cheaper – only a rubber nozzle. In any case it is necessary to remove a brush of a screen wiper from its lever.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Cast away the lever of a brush of a screen wiper.
Wring out downwards the plastic lever on an average axis of a brush of a screen wiper.
Simultaneously remove a brush from the screen wiper lever.
At installation press a screen wiper brush so that its groove has entered into a fixing ledge on the lever.
Do not mix a brush of screen wipers: the bent brush of a screen wiper having taken the part of the passenger near to the driver.

Replacement of a rubber nozzle of a screen wiper

If the metal lever mechanism is perfectly in order, it is necessary to replace only a rubber nozzle of a screen wiper:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Buy a rubber nozzle on the sample.
Unbend fixing clips round a rubber nozzle on the end of a brush of a screen wiper.
Take out an old rubber nozzle and the metal strip enclosed about two party, put it on a new nozzle. Track that the bend has been turned downwards (to glass).
Insert a new nozzle and again compress fixing clips.

Dismantle of levers of screen wipers

Open a cowl.
Wring out a black protective cap ahead on an axis of a screen wiper and unscrew under it шестигранную a nut. Remove подкладную a washer.
Sharp movements to remove the lever with мелкошлицевого connections of an axis of a screen wiper.
Do not mix levers of screen wipers: the squeezed out letter F costs on the lever from outside the driver, "In" – from outside the passenger near to the driver.
At installation screw levers of screen wipers so that each of them lay on black shaped marks under a windscreen.
For this purpose it is necessary to be convinced that the engine of screen wipers is in parking position.
Tighten шестигранные nuts on 16 Nanometers.
For test start screen wipers and once again check up final position.

Council: Громыхание and a scratch at work of screen wipers are connected with wrong installation of a corner of a rubber nozzle of a screen wiper in relation to glass. The rubber nozzle should be to glass at right angle that – depending on a movement direction – it could bend in one and in other party.
