When the bumper (4) is removed, it is visible: 1 – a fixing bolt of a wing; 2 – one of fixing bolts of a headlight; 3 – a lateral arm of a bumper. |
Dismantle of the bottom facing of an impellent compartment
The bottom facing of an impellent compartment essentially promotes high factor обтекаемости bodies Audi, and also to decrease in noise. Unfortunately, this facing should be dismantled at many works on engine maintenance service (for example, at oil replacement).

- Lift and fix a forward part of the car.
- Turn to the left on 90 on two synthetic high-speed shutters in wheel niches on the right and at the left.
- On back, and also on the forward end of facing by a screw-driver turn to the left on 90 on three high-speed shutters.
- Lower facing ahead on штекерном bumper connection.
- At installation facing carefully insert into a bumper bottom edge. Then in the beginning fix back high-speed shutters.

Face-to-face part of the car (6) result in position for service (the basic stages of work): the special tool (8) screw up in apertures (5), for this purpose unscrew on the right a bolt (2). Unscrew bolts 1, 3, 4. Pull a face-to-face part approximately on 70 mm forward and this time screw up bolts 4 in forward carving apertures 7. |

Reduction of a face-to-face part of the car in position for service
The face-to-face part of the car is required to be resulted in position for service even for replacement клинового a belt in the car with the four-cylinder engine. For this purpose the face-to-face part is extended a little forward on two screwed up bolts. Bolts in Audi have number of the tool 3369, but can be replaced by two pieces of a pipe (external diameter of 17 mm, length of 80 mm, a thickness of walls of 1 mm), and also two bolts М8 (the minimum length of 90 mm).
Further it is necessary to operate as follows:

- Dismantle a bumper.
- In apertures (the photo below see), the tools provided for reception 3369 (as replacement our pipe), note a felt-tip pen an arrangement of a face-to-face part. Thus, it will be possible to check up correct position of a face-to-face part at the subsequent assemblage.
- Screw up the tool 3369 (as replacement our pipes) in provided for this aperture. For this purpose unscrew on the right the bolt screwed up there.
- Unscrew all bolts of an arm of a bumper.
- Then unscrew on the right and at the left one bolt under lanterns of indexes of turns, and also on two bolts above on headlights.
- Pull forward a face-to-face part approximately on 70 mm.
- For fixation of a face-to-face part screw up back of two bolts above on headlights in a carving aperture of the first.
- Installation: again move up a face-to-face part to the car and in the beginning screw a bumper – only after that unscrew auxiliary tools.
- After assemblage check up, whether the marks made in the beginning settle down again in the centre of apertures. In this case assembly position of a face-to-face part the correct.

Council: the Face-to-face part of the car is dismantled by the same way which is described in the previous section.
|
Dismantle of a lattice of a radiator
|
|
- Open a cowl.
- Above on a lattice underside wring out downwards fixing clamps.
- Cast away a radiator lattice forward and after that remove.
- Installation: hang a bottom edge of a lattice of a radiator with directing in an assembly aperture of a cowl.
- Insert a lattice into an assembly aperture and press an upper edge so that it has entered into a groove on all width.
