The vjazkostnyj fan

Here you see вязкостный the fan (the radiator fan) six-cylinder engine. Its knots:

1 – the fan blade;
2 – an axis вязкостного couplings – at the six-cylinder engine with the big fixing bolt with шестигранной a head;

3 – вязкостное coupling.

For economy of capacity this fan is supplied so-called вязкостным by coupling. It includes the fan at an ambient temperature 82 С. It is carried out by means of a bimetallic tape which, being temperaturno-dependent, through the valve lets in viscous silicone oil working space вязкостного couplings. Oil creates power short circuit between a belt pulley and the fan – the fan submits cool air. At temperature more low 60 С silicone oil comes back from working space in a collector – the fan rotates with smaller speed, without spending capacity.

Dismantle вязкостного the fan

Dismantle вязкостного the fan of the six-cylinder engine: to weaken a fixing bolt of the fan, it is necessary to block a belt pulley: into an aperture (2) to insert a screw-driver and to rest against an arm (1).


The same process which is described in the dismantled engine at the left, here is shown in the car. The screw-driver is inserted into an aperture (2) and rests against an arm (1). It is possible to unscrew a bolt (3).


Dismantle вязкостного the fan at the four-cylinder engine: the belt pulley (1) is blocked by bolt М5 Х 60 (2), the fixing bolt can be unscrewed a key with internal шестигранником 8 mm (3).


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. The four-cylinder engine: unscrew a key behind in the fan bearing a fixing bolt with internal шестигранником
    In 8 mm. A belt pulley block, having inserted bolt М5 Х 60.
  2. Remove вязкостный the fan.
  3. Unscrew from the fan its coupling.
  4. At installation tighten a bolt on 70 Nanometers.
  5. The moment of an inhaling of the fan at coupling: 10 Nanometers.
  6. The six-cylinder engine: ослабьте a fixing bolt of the fan (it simultaneously is a fan axis) рожковым key SW 32.

     Attention: the left carving! Block thus a belt pulley a screw-driver. The screw-driver rests against the arm provided for this purpose.


  7. Remove вязкостный the fan.
  8. Unscrew on the fan вязкостное coupling.
  9. At installation tighten a bolt on 70 Nanometers.
  10. The moment of an inhaling of the fan on coupling: 10 Nanometers.
