Idling adjustment

In all models Audi A4 there is an automatic adjustment of turns of idling. The adjusting screw already is not present, which already can be adjusted nothing. If idling turns wrong they are checked. Under correct conditions of check the number of turns should be adjusted to 680–820 rpm (the engine 2,6) or 700–800 rpm (the engine 2,8). If is not present:

  • Check up all knots of system всасывания (hoses, linings) on tightness. Getting additional air can change so strongly number of turns of idling that the valve of stabilisation of idling cannot even level them.
  • Consider in a workshop the computer with a memory of malfunctions. Perhaps, in system there is other defect.
