Coupling check

Degree of deterioration of a conducted disk of coupling cannot be defined in the mounted condition. First sign of presence of defect when coupling slips. You will notice in the beginning proskalzyvanie couplings at movement on the higher transfer under loading. The engine works on high turns, and speed thus does not increase. The certain explanation can give the following method which needs to be used only occasionally:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put a manual brake, start the engine.
  2. Put 3rd transfer, slowly include coupling and give gas.
  3. At a faultless manual brake the engine should decay.
  4. If the engine works, coupling is faulty.

Coupling is correctly switched off?

If the transmission at the warm engine is badly switched or gear change process is accompanied by scraping or roaring sounds, that, possibly, coupling correctly is not switched off. Very seldom this effect is connected with malfunction of a transmission. To be assured, we will inspect on 1st transfer or on backing transfer:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Start the engine idling.
  2. Completely squeeze out a coupling pedal, wait about three seconds, then try to include 1st transfer or a backing.
  3. If transfer joins hardly or the gnash it means is heard that coupling is switched off not purely, i.e. The conducted disk rotates not absolutely freely.
  4. Check up hydraulic system of coupling and pump over it.
  5. Once again inspect.
