The aerial on back glass

As the aerial for reception of average waves in this type of aerials three metal current-carrying paths in the top of glass are used.

For VHF reception other current-carrying paths which simultaneously serve as heating elements serve. The insufficient height of this system of aerials is compensated by the amplifier under the left back facing of a rack of a roof.

Search of malfunctions in the aerial of back glass

Back facing of a rack of a roof can be removed, having shown a great patience and dexterity, in cars with a leaning back back of a back seat without others разборочных works. But in cars with a rigid back without its dismantle not to manage. As a whole work is facilitated after dismantle of a back reception pocket and lateral facing of a leaning back seat (the head Salon).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove both facings of racks of a roof behind.
  2. Check up connection with weight of heating of back glass on the right rack of a roof, and also, whether the aerial amplifier fixing screws is reliably connected to weight.
  3. Attentively check up the top three current-carrying paths on back glass: whether there is a visible rupture? If yes, carry out repairs by a current-carrying silver varnish or put new back glass.
  4. Now electric check follows: Disconnect a socket thin white токоподводящего wires above on the amplifier, measure pressure concerning weight. For this purpose include a radio receiver.
  5. Presence pressure from the accumulator: current giving on the amplifier is perfectly in order. There is no pressure: eliminate rupture in a wire.
  6. On the same wire measure a current between a socket of the amplifier and the removed wire.
  7. The ampermeter should show 30–50 мА, otherwise the amplifier of the aerial does not consume a current and, hence, it is faulty – replace.
  8. The following check: disconnect the bottom wire on warmed back glass, include ignition and heating of back glass, measure pressure in a wire.
  9. In it there should be a pressure of the accumulator, otherwise malfunction in токоподводящем a wire or in the amplifier, outline damage.
  10. Disconnect bottom (thick white) a wire on the amplifier, measure pressure at the included ignition and heating of back glass:
  11. If there is a pressure of the accumulator токоподводящий the wire is perfectly in order, probably, the amplifier is faulty. If is not present, on the contrary.

Dynamics in facing of a forward door

Динамик the average frequencies, located below, also it is screwed behind on door facing. Figures from 1 to 3 designate fixing screws.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Dismantle facing of a forward door.
  2. Cautiously remove being for door facing демпфирующую a film from polyfoam.
  3. Disconnect a wire socket in a connecting wire from bottom to top dynamics.

Back динамик

Back динамик it is screwed from above on body metal under a reception pocket (arrow). That it to dismantle, it is necessary to remove a back reception pocket in the beginning.

  2. Loosen the screws with crosswise heads, remove динамик.
