Usually shock-absorbers do not fail suddenly, their efficiency gradually decreases, to what imperceptibly get used.
It is impossible to make the exact diagnosis by known a rocking method standing car at which the car shake for a wing at the corresponding shock-absorber and then suddenly release: springing movement should be extinguished at once. But so it is possible to define only completely failed shock-absorber.
